Poor first names could lead to feeling dumber, lonelier


This may seem trivial but the implications of the study are astonishingly broad. If something as apparently trivial one's first name affects them individually and socially, consider the broad social, psychological, and economic implications of those things over which one has little control that seem important intuitively, such as social status.
